There is great need for a TV show focusing on the strange and bizarre world of North Korean leaders. Undoubtedly, the program might begin with Shakespeare’s King Lear or one of his other plays about royal intrigue such as Othello. We do know that The Great Leader, The Father of the Country, Kim Jong il is ill and most probably does not have much time left in this world. Ah, now for the intrigue. Will The Beloved Leader’s Beloved Son, Kim Jong-un, assume power, will it be the mysterious uncle, Jang jong-saek, will it be some army general who is tired of being bossed around by the incompetent family that has ruled his nation for sixty odd years? Who knows, perhaps, the Shadow is the only one who can figure out what the heck is going on in the dark corridors of power up north.
The only information that is available about Beloved Son, Kim Jong-un is that he spent some years in Switzerland going to school, he speaks German, French and English, he loves basketball and the martial arts. These skills and interests undoubtedly qualify him for leading the secret land of the north. The only question is where in hell will he lead this nation?
